Benefits of corrective exercise
Rehabilitate old and acute injuries, getting back
into shape in a gentle and safe way, reverse old neuromuscular patterns,
stability, balance, flexibility, and enjoying being active. Many
who start of in corrective exercise end up into the personal training as they
regain stability and are pain free.

Corrective exercise is for those who want to
maintain a physically healthy lifestyle throughout their life. This system pays detail attention to how the
body is moving at a whole. When dealing
with injuries or being out of shape, you have muscle systems that are either to
tight or to week. Corrective exercise
allows for your pattern to be identified so the proper exercises will safely
bring you out of pain and meet your goals.
The
first session you will receive a detailed case history of injuries that have
occurred through your past, weakness and general stiffness. We then watch the way you walk to evaluate
one the most basic movements of life along with sitting and standing. The gait analysis plays a key part in
determining imbalanced biomechanics.
All the exercises that we give you have a practical
use in every day common activities. We’ll
help you understand the mechanisms of proper biomechanics, so that you can correctly
lift, pull, push, and walk. These are
some of the most basic underling movements that we do as humans. Learning how to do these exercises will allow
you to feel confidence, strength, flexibility and balance.
The
corrective exercise session will be done at Functional Fitness (Sam Iannetta’s
Gym). Bryan is certified by National
Association of Sports Medicine and a level one trainer underneath Sam
Iannetta’s system of Functional Fitness.
Bryan continues to learn with Sam twice a week (see Bio for more info).
