Massage
Style
Bryan’s
main style of massage comes from his Japanese teacher Shogo Mochazuki but has
also studied Shiatsu (Japanese massage), Tui na (Chinese massage) and Tia (Tia
land) massage. His teacher comes from a
well respected family linage from Japan.
Shogo’s Mochizuki also has studied with multiple Masters outside his
family linage in treating physical body structure for pain. Anma is one of the oldest and most effective
massage techniques to date. This system
draws from the traditional Chinese meridian systems to help relax the body and
relieve physical pain.
Anma
does not use oil as part of the massage and can be done with your close on if
needed. This technique is a very
therapeutic allowing for quick and lasting results.
Recovery
Time
The
efficiency of acupuncture depends on:
1. The
status of self-healing potential of the body (e.g., the healthier person is,
the better self-healing potential).
2. The
potential heal ability of the symptoms (e.g., acute low back pain heals quicker
then chronic low back pain). This is why different patients respond
differently to the same acupuncture treatment.
On
average acute pain (1 to 6 months) can be completely relieved in 2 to 8
treatments, chronic pain (6 months to 3+ years) takes about 8 to 16 treatments.
